New year Craig’s hut day ride Start the new year with a bang, we have ran this ride for a few years and it never disappoints! Starting at Swanpool between Benalla & Mansfield the ride meanders through parts of the Strathbogies through toombullup forest, into lake William hovel and up to Craig’s hut for lunch. With some creek crossing for a laugh , typical high county hills that always give the photo views. typically suited to enduro bikes or small adventure bikes but not out of the question for a capable large adventure bike rider.
What you get: experienced lead & sweep rider, first aid assistance, fuel dump & fuel mid ride & at Craig’s hut. picnic lunch at Craig’s hut, 4x4 recovery vehicle for assistance.
What you need: registered bike in suitable condition, basic tools and basic spares to suit your bike. Your bike full of fuel to start. A Check list will be sent out in the lead up to the event.
